Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays (and it's my birthday!!) It's usually sunny, there are cookouts, fireworks, and spending time with people you love. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that having something fun and festive to drink makes those moments feel even more special.
Whether you’re hosting the backyard BBQ, heading to a family gathering, or packing up for fireworks in the park, bringing a great mocktail (or a cooler full of options) will help you celebrate the way you want to.
The best part? You don’t need complicated ingredients or hours of prep. These best Fourth of July mocktail recipes are made with simple ingredients you can find at the grocery store and are perfect for making ahead, batching for a crowd, or mixing up one glass at a time.
From fruity summer favorites to bubbly spritzes, these are the drinks I’ll be making all holiday weekend long. Cheers to celebrating America, no matter what’s in your glass.

Prep a Mocktail to Bring With You (or Make Hosting Easier)
One of my favorite hosting hacks is prepping a mocktail ahead of time. If you’re bringing drinks to a party, mix everything except sparkling ingredients in advance and store it in a pitcher or mason jars in the fridge.

Add ice and bubbles right before serving so everything stays fresh and crisp.
If you’re hosting, create a simple mocktail station instead of playing bartender all day. Prep fruit, garnishes, syrups, and juices ahead of time, then leave sparkling waters or mixers chilled so guests can customize their drinks.
A few easy prep ideas:
• Batch mocktail bases the night before
• Pre-slice citrus and fruit garnishes
• Freeze fruit to use as festive ice cubes
• Label ingredients for easy self-serve drinks
• Keep a pitcher of one signature mocktail ready to pour
How to Pack a Non-Alcoholic Cooler for Fourth of July
If you’re headed to someone else’s house, the beach, fireworks, or a cookout, I’m a big believer in bringing your own cooler stocked with options you’re excited to drink. Having choices ready to go means you never end up settling for warm water or feeling left out. Plus, there’s something fun about reaching into the cooler and pulling out a drink that feels festive and intentional.

My go-to non-alcoholic cooler setup:
• A few ready-to-drink mocktails or NA canned options (I'll list them below)
• Sparkling water in different flavors ( I like Spindrift and Waterloo)
• Fresh citrus and herbs for quick upgrades (orange, lime or lemon slices + mint, thyme, or rosemary)
• A batch mocktail in a sealed pitcher or bottles
• Ice (more than you think you need)
• Cute cups or drink tumblers
I love having a drink in hand during social moments because it's part of the experience of celebrating, toasting, and connecting with everyone around you. Pack options you’re genuinely excited about!

Ready-to-Drink Mocktails - Here's Some Of My Favorites
Hiyo - I LOVE Hiyo!! The first organic social tonic produces similar stress-relieving, mood-boosting feelings that people usually seek from alcohol, but instead from healthy, functional ingredients.
De Soi - Range of sparkling non-alcoholic apéritifs. The secrets in their adaptogens, mind-mellowing botanicals that put the fun in functional, helping to create, relax, and ease into the night.
Mingle Mood Mocktails - These Mingle Mood drinks are SO good flavor-wise and also have adaptogens and nootropics to help you relax! Big fan of the spicy margarita and watermelon flavor for summer!
Ghia - spirit-free alternative that would capture the essence of the Mediterranean aperitivo culture
Spindrift - They make some delicious canned mocktails like Nojito, Berry Bellini, or Ginger Lime Mule.
