A Savory Bell Pepper Margarita Mocktail

If you love a good margarita mocktail but want to switch things up, this Bell Pepper Margarita is a must-try! This savory and refreshing mocktail has the perfect balance of earthy bell pepper, bright citrus, and a touch of sweetness. Oh my gosh, this one is SO good!

Years ago, I had a bell pepper drink at a restaurant, and ever since then, I’ve been dreaming about recreating it. And let me tell you, this one does not disappoint! It’s unique, flavorful, and perfect if you’re looking for a mocktail that’s not overly sweet.

How to Make Bell Pepper Juice

The key ingredient in this drink is fresh bell pepper juice. You can easily make it at home in one of two ways:

  • Juicer Method: Simply run a bell pepper through your juicer for an instant fresh juice. I use my Nama J2. Use MOCKTAILGIRLIE for 10% off your juicer.

  • Blender Method: Blend chopped bell pepper with a little water, then strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any pulp.

And if you want, you can add a NA tequila alternative! It’s a must-have on my bar cart!

Why You’ll Love This Mocktail

So, if you’re in the mood for a margarita that’s a little unexpected but completely delicious, give this Bell Pepper Margarita a try! Cheers to mixing things up with fresh, vibrant flavors!

So What is Tequila Alternative?

Non-alcoholic tequila alternatives are made to mimic the taste, aroma, and slight burn of traditional tequila but with zero alcohol. Think of them like the NA version of spirits: crafted to deliver that same complex flavor you’d expect in a margarita, without the booze.

Non-alcoholic tequila alternatives are perfect for those who love the bold, earthy, and slightly smoky flavors of traditional tequila. These substitutes are crafted to mimic the essence of tequila, making them ideal for mocktail versions of your favorite tequila-based drinks.

What to Replace Tequila Alternative if you don't have it:

If you prefer, you can omit the tequila alternative and enjoy the mocktail as is. It will still have the vibrant citrus flavors of a traditional margarita. Just add another 1oz of orange juice or add another flavor like pineapple, mango, or strawberry! You can also replace it with sparkling water or coconut water. Also, you can add some jalapeños if you want some kick!
