Let's Make a Spicy Cucumber Margarita Mocktail (NA)
Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with a refreshing, spicy, and oh-so-delicious Spicy Cucumber Margarita Mocktail? This drink has the perfect balance of cucumber, lime, and a kick that makes every sip an experience.
Whether you're throwing a party, hanging out with friends, or just looking for a delicious drink to sip on, this mocktail is a must-make. You'll want to make more than one, so have those ingredients stocked!

Add cucumber juice, lime juice, orange juice, jalapenos, agave, and NA tequila alternative (optional) to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake it up! Then rim your glass with salt and pour the shaker into the glass over ice! Garnish with jalapeno slices! Cheers!
I used my Nama J2 juicer to make the cucumber juice! My code MOCKTAILGIRLIE gets you 10% off. I LOVE my juicer.
Ingredients
• 3 oz cucumber juice
• 2-3 jalapeno slices
• 1 oz orange juice
• 1/2 lime - juiced
• 1/2 oz agave
• 1 oz NA tequila alternative (optional)
(You can add another oz of orange or cucumber juice)
• Garnish: jalapeño slicesÂ
Make the Drink Your Own!
Want a stronger cucumber flavor? Use cucumber-infused water instead of the NA tequila alternative.
Need more heat? Muddle extra jalapeño slices, or add a dash of cayenne pepper to the rim.
Looking for a tropical twist? Add a splash of fresh pineapple juice or swap agave for honey.
Make it extra fancy:Â Add a cucumber ribbon inside the glass for a stunning presentation.
So, What is Tequila Alternative?
Non-alcoholic tequila alternatives are made to mimic the taste, aroma, and slight burn of traditional tequila. Think of them like the NA version of spirits: crafted to deliver that same complex flavor you’d expect in a margarita!
Non-alcoholic tequila alternatives are perfect for those who love the bold, earthy, and slightly smoky flavors of traditional tequila. These substitutes are crafted to mimic the essence of tequila, making them ideal for mocktail versions of your favorite tequila-based drinks.
Favorite brands to try:
Free Spirits The Spirit of Tequila – More complex, with a warm finish and herbal notes. Inspired by aged tequila and artisanal mezcal, it captures warm oak and vanilla, bright pepper heat from natural capsaicin, and subtle smokiness.
Almave Blanco Non-Alcoholic Blue Agave Spirit (<0.5% ABV)Â - This one became my favorite in 2025! Almave is the first super-premium non-alcoholic Blue Agave spirit, made in Mexico, closely following traditional tequila distillation techniques. Check with Dr. if pregnant!
Ritual Zero Proof Agave Spirit Alternative – Earthy, vegetal, and a little spicy. A great go-to for margaritas.
NOTE: Please consult your health care provider if you have questions on consuming non-alcoholic wine that has less than .5% alcohol. This is NOT health advice.
What to Replace Tequila Alternative if you don't have it:
If you prefer, you can omit the tequila alternative and enjoy the mocktail as is. Just add another ounce of orange juice or cucumber juice! You can also replace it with sparkling water or coconut water.
