Blueberry Lemon Spritz

Updated: Jun 3

If you’ve been here for any amount of time, you know I love a mocktail that’s easy, fresh, and looks like it belongs at a cute little patio party. This Blueberry Lemon Spritz checks all the boxes. It’s super simple, wildly refreshing, and gorgeous in a glass.

Seriously, this one is probably my favorite right now. And I’ve made a lot of mocktails. LOL

I always say I’m a “fresh ingredients, simple prep” kind of girl, and this spritz is the best example of that. It’s vibrant, it’s not too sweet, and it never fails to impress. You can try different fruit or even lime juice and a different herb!

Why You’ll Love It

  • It’s so easy. Just four ingredients. No shaker. No fancy equipment.

  • Looks fancy, but takes 2 minutes. We’re all about the low-lift, high-reward mocktails.

  • Fresh, bright, and bubbly. Perfect for hot days, brunches, or just hanging out on your back porch.

  • Naturally alcohol-free. No swaps or fake booze required. Just real, fresh ingredients that taste amazing.

Blueberry Lemon Spritz Recipe

Ingredients:

  • A handful of fresh blueberries

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)

  • 5–6 fresh mint leaves

  • Club soda

Optional: Add a touch of simple syrup or honey if you want a little extra sweetness. Totally up to you.

How to Make It:

  1. Muddle the blueberries in a separate glass (if you don't mind pieces of blueberry in your drink, just add them to the glass and muddle in there and skip the strainer step)

  2. Strain the blueberries into a serving glass.

  3. Add lemon juice and mint to the glass and stir.

  4. Top with ice

  5. Pour in your club soda until the glass is full and stir

  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint, a lemon wheel, or a few extra blueberries on top if you’re feeling fancy.

Large Batch Blueberry Lemon Spritz (8 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (about 40–50 leaves)

  • 1 liter club soda (chilled)

  • Ice (for serving)

  • Optional: lemon slices and extra blueberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Muddle the blueberries in a large glass.

  2. In a large pitcher, strain blueberries (or just muddle in the pitcher if you don't mind pieces of blueberry in your glass)

  3. Add lemon juice and mint leaves and stir together.

(IF YOU'RE PREPPING FOR LATER, WAIT TO ADD ICE AND CLUB SODA UNTIL SERVING!)

  4. Add ice to the pitcher.

  5. Pour in the club soda and gently stir to combine.

  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and a few extra blueberries if desired.

Tips & Variations

  • Make it a pitcher! Muddle everything in a larger container, then scale up to serve a group.

  • Swap your soda: Want a little twist? Try this with lemon or lime sparkling water, or even a zero-sugar lemon soda if that’s your thing.

  • Frozen berries: If you don’t have fresh blueberries, frozen will work too (just let them thaw slightly before muddling).

  • Add a twist: A splash of cranberry juice or a little elderflower tonic could be a fun way to mix things up.
